Governor Hope Uzodinma
His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma was elected the 16th Governor of Imo State on the platform of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) On 29 May 2011, Senator Hope Uzodinma was sworn-in as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Imo State (West Senatorial District). He was re-elected for a second term in the Senate during the 2015 election.
The Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, as an astute and immediate past member of the Nigerian Senate, believes that a suitable society is governed by law, which guarantee security of lives and properties. Based on the aforementioned Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has aggressively commenced the implementation of his three Rs- Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery agenda which were the cardinal points on which he campaigned for votes surpassing all expectations within 100 days in office. Interestingly, right from the outset of his administration, Gov Uzodimma made it clear that he understood the concept of continuity in government.
